Bugs. They’re just harmless little things, right? Tiny, gross, often annoying little things perhaps? But hey, they’re nothing to be scared of! Wrong. Annoying buzzing around your head is the least of your worries if you come across these members of the insect world which can do everything from causing severe allergic reactions to passing along deadly diseases to people or animals. Macrophotography is making very large photographs. Photomacography is making closeup photos of small objects (compared with photomicography, making photographs through a microscope).

The last creature is a Wheel Bug from the Assassin Bug family (reduviidae). He not an insect, but a true bug, and is dangerous to caterpillars for the most part. While he looks pretty impressive, he doesn’t belong in this list — just look at that face — he looks like a nerd with armor — not a violent offender.

@ laurie: True bugs ARE insects, they are one of the thirty or so insect orders. The first is not an anopheles mosquito.
What is dangerous? Sure, occasionally some of these cause harm but it is a hodgepodge of very different categories of danger. Another nonsense list on the web.
