Have you ever driven or walked by a sign that made you do a double-take and think “Huh?” Sometimes funny signs are a result of ironic placement. Other times funny signs result from misspellings (usually unintentional). And some strange and funny signs really do make sense to some people and only seem odd to those of us who can’t understand them in context. For your amusement, here are 20 photos of unusual or funny signs that might raise an eyebrow or two.
It’s always nice to see that an animal park worries about the animals’ well-being. Their concern for their customers however….

Apparently this wasn’t a typo. It’s a real product — lip balm at that. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t put anything with that name on my mouth!

Makes me wonder how they feel about their customers on the other six days of the week.

I’ll admit that I like Wendy’s chicken nuggets. But that’s just a little too rich for my blood.

Whether you’re walking by with an empty stomach, just passing through town and need a ride, or plan to stay a bit more permanently, they’ve got you covered. Now that’s a one stop shop if ever I’ve seen one.

That’ll teach you to watch your food!

Whatever happened to just turning a light on for the registers that are working? Typo aside, this might be overkill.

Maybe this is Target’s way of telling you to go spend your money at Wal-Mart instead.

You know… this could be a real-life solution to making people watch their kids for a change!

I’d say I’m thankful those days are behind us, but we’re almost there again now (where I live – maybe you already are!)

Well, if you’re too lazy to do something yourself, find another poor schmuck to do it for you! I say good for them!

Hey. At least they said “Please.”

Why do I feel like, if you know people are going to trip and get hurt, then you should fix the problem instead of putting a sign up. I guess they could always grab the sign to catch themselves from falling.

I wonder if that sign would be more inclined to make people come to a full stop or test their luck just to see if the sign was true.

Have to give this ad credit — effective, right to the point, and I have to imagine it makes an impact on the target young male audience.

Yeah. I think I’d kind of miss my limbs — just a little bit.

A match made in Heaven or…?

This guy sure sounds like a classy neighbor. I wonder if anyone ever let him in on the fact that you can only shoot them when they trespass on private property. Maybe he owns the road.

I’m still scratching my head over this one. What does “free” mean again? Wait. Let me get a dictionary….
